The 4th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Thursday 24th April 1817 over the Ditch Mile, was Neva (7/4 fav), a bay filly by Cervantes out of Mary, owned by Mr George Watson. A field of 10 runners contested the race which was worth 2100 Guineas (Equivalent to £197,600 in 2017)
